Edwin Valero (1981-2010) was a Venezuelan professional boxer who had an impressive career, winning all 27 of his fights, with all of them ending in a knockout. He won the World Boxing Council super featherweight title in 2006 and the lightweight title in 2009. Valero was known for his aggressive style and punching power, and was considered one of the most promising boxers in the sport.
However, Valero's career was marked by controversy and tragedy. He struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction, and was arrested multiple times for domestic violence. In 2010, he was accused of murdering his wife and subsequently took his own life in jail.
Despite the difficulties in his personal life, Valero's boxing talent and achievements cemented his legacy as one of the greatest fighters to come out of Venezuela.
